I have always loved to create gift baskets and packages for friends, family, and coworkers.  Whether it was for a holiday or special occasion, I would think up a theme and start gathering items to create a special basket or box.  It is so much fun finding just the right items to fit the person and theme, then craft them into a special gift package!  

After retiring from a 37-year career in telecommunications, I was thinking about what I wanted to do with the next phase of my life.  I knew I wanted to connect with the great community I live in and do something I enjoyed doing.  Then it hit me, what if I combined my joy for creating gift baskets with the love of my community and start a business?   I bounced the idea off family and friends and received allot of support and encouragement. From there the idea took hold and Mountain Made Gift Baskets, LLC was formed!  

As I was getting the business started, I was amazed by the support I received from so many of the business owners in the area and around the state.  As we see our small towns grow, it’s wonderful that the small businesses and local crafters are keeping our small-town spirit alive.  I am grateful to now be part of this wonderful community.

At Mountain Made Gift Baskets, we strive to feature locally sourced and southern made items in our gift packages.  We offer an amazing array of quality products. Many of the local items are hand crafted in small batches.  Whether it’s food items, personal care items, or something unique from our crafters, we’ve got you covered.  I look forward to designing these wonderful products into a special gift for you.
