We hope you will be 100% satisfied with your gift package. However, in the event you would like to return the package, please see our return policy.
What if the gift is sent to the incorrect or incomplete address?
If the address provided and is incorrect or incomplete and the item has not yet shipped, please call Mountain Made Gift Baskets at 404-862-6472 and we can correct. If the item has already shipped, unfortunately there is little we can do after the package has shipped. If it is returned, we can attempt to resend to the correct address for an additional shipping fee.
Are your delivery times guaranteed?
We use the UPSP for our shipments. Packages sent Priority Mail Express are guaranteed delivery next day by 6:00 pm. Packages sent via Priority mail are expected to be delivered within 1 to 3 days of shipment. While there is no guarantee with Priority mail, their schedules are typically reliable.
Can I send a package internationally?
At this time, we do not send gift packages Internationally.
What if my gift is going to a hospital?
If a gift is being shipped to a hospital for a patient, it will be delivered to a receiving area. Hospital staff will deliver the package to the patient. Note, there could be a delay with delivery to the recipient due to the process used by hospital staff.
What if the gift is going to a college?
If the gift is sent to a college, in most cases it will be delivered to the mail room on the campus. This is the case even when an exact address is provided. Colleges have this process in place to ensure the safety of the students.
What if the gift is going to a business?
If a gift is being shipped to a business, it will be delivered to the designated area where all other packages are delivered (ex: receiving area, reception desk)
How do you pack your gift packages?
We take great care to ensure our gift packages are packed to arrive safely. Bubble wrap and other insulating material is used to protect the package. We do not use annoying popcorn foam when shipping our packages.
Do recipients have to be present to receive their packages?
No. Packages will be left by USPS per their normal delivery process.
Substitution Policy
Many of our products are small batch made and occasionally we run out of a specific item. In the event a particular item is not available at the time of shipping, we will substitute for a different one of equal or greater value.e
Return Policy for shelf-stable items purchased
If a shelf-stable item purchase is returned to us new and in original packaging within 14 days of delivery, we will offer a store credit for your order total and less our costs for shipping and handling each way.
Return Policy for Cancelled Orders
An order cannot be cancelled once it has been shipped. If you decide to cancel after shipment, our standard return policy applies.
Return Policy for Free Shipping Items
For items that shipped for free, our shipping costs will be deducted from your store credit.
Return Policy for Perishable Items
If a perishable item is returned to us, we cannot offer a store credit. Unlike items that have a longer shelf life, items that are perishable are unable to be resold after they are sent back to us. When this situation occurs, we do offer customers a 20% discount on a replacement order.
Return Policy for Damaged Products
If a product arrives damaged or with items missing, please notify us within 14 days. We would be happy to send you a replacement as soon as possible.
